To prevent pool algae:

1. Apply 8oz of product per 10,000gal of water with pump and filter operating to establish algicide residual.
2. Thereafter, for weekly application intervals, apply 1.5oz of product per 10,000gal of water. For every other week application intervals, apply 3oz per 10,000gal of water.

Note: Apply more often if pool volume is diluted by heavy rain, frequent backwashing, or partial drain/refill.

For treatment of visible algae:

1. Ensure a free chlorine residual of 4ppm or greater is present; if not, apply a shock treatment in accordance with the recommendations from your Water Specialist.
2. Let shock circulate for 1 hour.
3. With pump and filter operating, apply 16oz of Algae Complete™ per 10,000gal of water directly to the pool in areas of heaviest algae growth.
4. Continuously circulate pool water for at least 24 hours.
5. After 24 hours, thoroughly brush pool surfaces.
6. Once all algae is dead, vacuum any settled dead algae to waste and chemically clean pool filter with Strip-Kwik^®.
